B. N. Morris
The B.N. Morris Company of Veazie, Maine, was in business for approximately thirty-years.
This is one of a series of undated Morris catalogs that share the same cover graphic, but differ in colors. Careful analysis of these catalogs suggest this is the middle of three, being preceded by the catalog with a red-on-red cover and followed by the catalog with a green-on-yellow cover.
The date estimate is based on comparison with catalogs that are dated, and this catalog's position among the three undated catalogs.
This undated catalog is circa 1908-1910, based on the Old Town Otca model offered only in 16- and 17-foot lengths. The 18' Otca first appears in Old Town's 1911 catalog.
The canoe pictured in these cards was almost certainly built by B. N. Morris.
